General Practitioner (GP) – Permanent

Are you a General Practitioner with passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at the Cowley Road Medical Practice, a vibrant, community-focused GP practice in East Oxford. The role will incorporate all the various aspects of day to day general practice in a combination of acute presentation of patients (through duty doctor sessions) as well as chronic disease/long term conditions monitoring and management (through routine telephone/face to face appointment sessions).

Responsibilities
  • Provide GMS services to the patient population of Cowley, Oxford.
  • Contribute to clinical administration duties.
  • Attend a number of duty clinician sessions throughout the week.
  • Optional: Provide Safeguarding Leadership to both the Clinical and non‑clinical teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Permanent contract GP. Experience in a community focused practice is desirable. Good communication skills. Willing to work 3–9 sessions a week. Ability to take on Safeguarding Lead role is an advantage.
