Job summary

Ipswich Practice in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking a Salaried GP to join a growing, well-established team. The role offers six sessions per week, with a mix of on-site and enhanced access sessions, including remote delivery, and a capped daily patient load to ensure manageable workload.

The post supports a genuine partnership pathway after about a year, with Tier 2/ Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under consideration. Applicants must hold GMC registration and be on the Medical Performers List.

Qualifications

• Current general practice experience with confidence in chronic disease management.
• Experience with clinical governance and QOF delivery.

Responsibilities

• Six sessions per week with on-site and enhanced access sessions including remote delivery.
• Maintain a daily patient contact cap of 30 and manage urgent requests within cap.
• Pooled patient lists with central triage support and a light home-visiting burden.
• Progress to genuine partnership pathway after around 12 months in post.
• Sponsorship considered for visa (Tier 2 or Skilled Worker).

Education

MRCGP or equivalent

CCT in General Practice or CEGPR equivalent

GMC registration/licence to practise
