Job summary

Derby Road Surgery in Ipswich is seeking a salaried GP to join our friendly team. The role is 6 sessions per week (Mon 2, Tue 2, and 2 sessions outside core hours). Out-of-hours work is paid at an enhanced rate and flexibility is required to accommodate training and holidays.

We serve over 19,000 patients with a strong emphasis on patient care, team collaboration and excellent service. NHS pension scheme membership is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work calmly in a team and multi-task.
• Flexible to cover training, holidays and sickness.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP consultations in surgery.
• Telephone/video consultations and home visits as needed.
• Check and sign prescriptions and manage queries.
• Work within protocols and guidelines.
• Contribute to patient care and NHS pension scheme.
