Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC invites applications for a Salaried GP to join a multidisciplinary team delivering primary care services within HMP Forest Bank. Clinics are face-to-face with 8 appointments per session, and GPs may be required to provide reception cover after 5pm.

Training and support are provided for those without prison experience, with a focus on reducing health inequalities. The post offers a range of benefits including NHS Pension, potential welcome payments, and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Full clinical assessment of patients; form differential diagnoses and management plans.
• Pharmacological assessment and prescribing.
• Request and interpretation of investigations; referrals to specialists as needed.
• Ongoing monitoring of chronic diseases per NICE guidance and local policy; palliative care where needed.
