Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a primary care environment.
• Experience of continuing professional development.
• Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
• General understanding of the GMS contract.
• Desirable: medicines management experience.
• Desirable: understand PCN contracts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
• Provide services in line with the GMS contract.
• Prescribe generically following local and national guidance.
• Manage long-term conditions effectively.
• Attend practice meetings and contribute to governance and training.
• Support training of medical students and GP trainees.
