Athona Limited is pleased to offer a Salaried General Practitioner role based in the Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will join a supportive primary care team, delivering comprehensive medical services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while developing specialist clinical interests.

Qualifications

• Appropriate qualifications and registration to practise as a GP in the UK.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamworking abilities.
• A flexible, enthusiastic approach to community-based general practice.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive general medical services to patients within the local community.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide continuity of care and build effective relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, advanced practitioners, nurses and wider multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team and palliative care meetings.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice, patient safety and professional conduct.
• Develop specialist clinical interests with support from the wider team.
