Job summary

NHS Shetland is seeking a Clinical Team Leader for General Practice Nurse/Non-Doctor Islands to lead the community nursing team across 15 populated islands. The role combines first-line management with ongoing clinical involvement to support patient care.

The post offers Band 7 salary (£52,845 - £61,466) plus a Distant Islands Allowance (£2,578) and relocation assistance up to £8,000, with PVG scheme requirements and a 36-hour week. Applications welcome from Band 6+.

Qualifications

• Band 6 or above with at least 3 years of senior-level experience.
• Non-Medical Prescriber with Advanced Clinical Examination skills.
• Willingness to develop clinical, leadership or management skills.
