Job summary

CPL in the Shetland Islands, Scotland invites applications for a Salaried GP to join two NHS practices. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours) or part-time, with no on-call and no weekend work, offering a balanced lifestyle in a close-knit island community.

The package includes £86,889 to £129,538 depending on experience (island supplement), relocation assistance up to £8,000, and potential out-of-hours sessions if desired. Fully funded BASICS training is available.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register.
• Eligibility to join a Scottish Performers List.
• Membership of the PVG scheme (or willingness to join).
• Newly qualified GPs are very welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Join two NHS GP practices in Shetland and provide salaried GP services.
• Offer comprehensive patient care in a low-traffic, island community with strong MDT support.
