Job summary

Bloomsbury Medical Centre in the UK is seeking a salaried GP to join its multidisciplinary general-practice team. The post involves consultations in person, by telephone and digitally, and contributing to prevention and practice improvement.

Open to experienced and newly qualified GPs with scope to develop primary-care interests and immediate start available. Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise and be on NHS England GP Performers List, with completed GP training

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultations face to face, by telephone and digitally.
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute, chronic and complex conditions across all ages.
• Recognise and respond to urgent and emergency situations.
• Undertake home visits when required, following policy.
• Prescribe safely and review medicines for chronic conditions.
• Arrange investigations, referrals and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records.
• Promote prevention, screening and patient self-management.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and governance.

MRCGP or equivalent
