Job summary

St Georges Medical Centre (Wallasey) is seeking a salaried GP to join our teaching practice in New Brighton, Wirral, offering 4–6 sessions per week with a start date in February 2027. You will work within a large team of partners, salaried GPs, and the practice staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the practice life, including clinical governance, audits, CPD activities and training the next

Qualifications

• Vocationally trained and accredited with eligibility to practice independently as a General Practitioner in England
• GMC registration with a medical defence organisation; never removed from a performers list
• Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car daily

Responsibilities

• Undertake consultations in all clinical settings during paid clinical time.
• Support Partners in providing services outlined in the GMS Contract.
• Share daily responsibility for checking and signing prescription requests and patient queries.
• Contribute to clinical governance, best practice and audits within the Practice.
• Participate in Training Practice activities and CPD.

Education
