Job summary

Selby is seeking a Salaried GP to join a friendly and established practice with 6–8 sessions per week and a permanent contract. The role offers weekly protected GP time, a supportive leadership team, and strong work-life balance to support professional development.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team providing patient-centred primary care, including home visits, on-call duties, and involvement in teaching and quality improvement initiatives within a busy town-centre

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and NHS Medical Performers List inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Home visits and on-call responsibilities.
• Diagnosis, treatment and care planning.
• Safe prescribing and clinical record keeping.
• Participation in audit, QOF and quality improvement.
• Teaching and training of medical students and GP trainees.
