Job summary

High Pastures Surgery, located in the Maghull and Lydiate area, is seeking two forward-thinking GPs to join our friendly team. One GP will work 6 sessions per week and the other 4 sessions per week.

We welcome applicants who embrace new models of care, digital health technologies, and opportunities for service improvement. The practice has a supportive environment with 2 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, a Physician Associate, Midwife and 2 Practice Nurses, and is training practice within a strong

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP eligible to work in NHS General Practice.
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Registered on the General Practitioner Register.
• Clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Experience in general practice or primary care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen actively and empathetically.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Accurate and thorough record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Make autonomous clinical decisions for presenting problems within practice.
• Assess health care needs of undifferentiated patients.
• Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes.
• Prescribe per formulary or generically when appropriate.
• Complete checks and record data to support QOF and contract quality.
