Job summary

Norwood Surgery is seeking a Salaried General Practitioner to join our forward-thinking practice in Southport. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, delivering comprehensive primary care, and contributing to service development.

We support flexible training, ongoing professional development and collaboration with a friendly team of partners, GPs, and nurses. 6–8 sessions per week are expected.

Qualifications

• General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training, CCT)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with audit and clinical governance valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP consultations, telephone queries and home visits as required.
• Prescribe and manage repeat prescriptions in line with practice policies.
• Maintain high standards of care and participate in practice development and audits.
