Job summary

Green House Surgery in Redcar Primary Care Hospital seeks an additional Salaried GP to join a dynamic, supportive team within the NHS. The practice offers modern facilities and on-site services, including physiotherapy and imaging access, with flexible hours and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

As a GP, you will manage diverse caseloads, perform surgeries and e-consultations, and contribute to audits and clinical governance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Participation in annual appraisal and revalidation when appropriate.
• General practice Vocational Training Scheme trained.
• On GP medical performers list.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• UK work permit if required or eligible via Tier 2 sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Undertake normal GP duties within primary care.
• Surgery consultations, telephone/video e-consultations, home visits as needed.
• Record clear, contemporaneous notes to standards.
• Prescribe per formulary and participate in clinical governance.
• Supervise and mentor nursing and allied staff and students.
• Participate in on-call daytime rota and audit activities.
