Job summary

Redgate & Somerset Bridge Medical Centres is looking for a Salaried GP to join a supportive, team‑oriented practice in Somerset. You will provide high‑quality medical care as an autonomous clinician within the GMS framework, with protected admin time and a workload designed for safety and sustainability.

We offer a competitive salary subject to experience, 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (pro‑rata), medical indemnity top‑up and no out‑of‑hours commitments.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration and UK licensure.
• Experience in a primary care setting with QOF awareness.
• Ability to audit, analyse data and drive improvement.
• Adaptable to team‑based practice with some autonomous duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality medical care to the entitled population.
• Manage referrals, labs, and prescribing within the GMS contract.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Provide diverse consultations (in person, video, telephone) and home visits as needed.
