Job summary

Holmside Medical Group, located in Newcastle upon Tyne, is seeking a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions to join a friendly, ambitious team. You will provide patient-centred care under the GMS contract within a forward-thinking practice serving around 10,000 patients.

We value teamwork, professional development and a culture of continuous improvement. The role includes triage, prescription management and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team across the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a primary care environment.
• Experience of continued professional development.
• Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
• Minimum of two years as a salaried GP.
• General understanding of the GMS contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
• Participate in practice meetings, appraisal and revalidation processes.
• Undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles on rotation.
• Support training of medical students and continuing professional development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, quality initiatives and governance.
