Beauchamp House Surgery in Chelmsford is seeking a fixed-term salaried GP to cover six sessions weekly, focusing on frailty and complex care to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions. The post is shared across Beauchamp House and Baddow Village on Tue, Thu and Fri within a multidisciplinary ARRS team.

Registration with GMC and entry on the NHSE medical performers list are required. The role offers comprehensive induction, mentoring and ongoing professional development within the NHS framework.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation.
• GMC registration and NHSE medical performers list entry.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and audit.

Responsabilités

• Provide proactive, holistic care for patients with frailty and complex needs.
• See patients in surgery, by telephone and on home visits.
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions and issue acute/repeat prescriptions.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions and develop care plans.
• Assess undifferentiated presentations and screen for disease risk.
• Deliver health education and keep clear consultation notes.
• Collect audit data and meet QOF requirements.
• Deliver enhanced services and perform general GP duties.
