Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated GP to join our friendly, high-earning GMS training practice in Wrexham, North Wales. The role involves 6-8 sessions per week, with consideration for two part-time GPs. Specialist interests are encouraged, and involvement in training GP registrars is welcomed. Starting date: June/July 2025.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
- Participate in the training and supervision of GP registrars.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of practice-led health initiatives.
- Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.
Job Requirements
- Registered with the GMC and on the GP register, or eligible to register soon.
- Registered with the Welsh Performers list.
- Fulfil revalidation and licensing requirements.

- Team includes 5 GP partners, 2-3 registrars, nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage prescriptions.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions within the scope of practice.
- Assess and manage undifferentiated health problems.
- Maintain clear records and contribute to audits and quality improvement.
- Adhere to practice policies on prescribing, confidentiality, and safety.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Participate in practice meetings, training, and development activities.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent.
- MRCGP or eligible to join the GP register.
- Registered or willing to register with the Welsh Performers list.
- Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation.
- Valid driving license and access to a car for home visits.
- Special interests are welcomed.
- Enthusiastic and hardworking team player.

Salary range: £64,500 to £86,000 per year, approximately £10,750 per session annually.
