We are a large, friendly, dedicated practice committed to high-quality clinical care and supporting our doctors. Due to expanding patient numbers, we seek forward-thinking, team-oriented doctors.

• List size: 14,200+
• Team: 5 GP partners, 2-3 registrars, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, 4 letter readers, 2 read coders
• Support staff trained to reduce doctors' workload, including prescribing team, coding team, and documents team
• Signposting service for same-day appointment requests managed by reception and ANPs
• Facilities include minor surgery, joint injections, contraception services, anticoagulation, DVLA medicals, etc.
• Tools: Emis Web, Docman, Accurx
• Training practice for GPs, pharmacists, and nurses becoming independent prescribers

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Registered with GMC and on the GP register (or soon to be)
• Registered with the Welsh Performers list
• Fulfill revalidation and license to practice requirements
• Contract based on modified BMA contract
• Undertake duties including consultations (face-to-face and telephone), home visits, prescriptions, and administrative tasks
• Make autonomous decisions regarding patient care
• Assess undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
• Screen for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
• Maintain clear, contemporaneous records
• Collect data for audits and comply with QUAIF
• Deliver enhanced services
• Issue prescriptions electronically, adhering to formulary
• Follow practice policies on prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety
• Commit to lifelong learning and audit
• Contribute to evaluation, standards, and computer record development
• Attend training sessions
• Perform all normal GP duties within primary care
