Job summary

Chase Medical in Torquay is seeking a Salaried GP to join a friendly, forward-thinking practice on a one-site team. The role offers up to six sessions per week with a pro‑rata leave package and full indemnity cover.

The practice serves about 8000 patients, has a Good CQC rating, and uses modern technology to reduce admin so GPs can focus on patient care. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team with opportunities for professional development, SPIN fellowship support, and visa

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list with ongoing clinical work.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused services.
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
• Working knowledge of systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Salaried GP - Torquay

Salary: £11,000-£12,500 per session (DOE)

Sessions: Up to 6 sessions available (2 sessions per day across Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays)

We're working with a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice in Torquay that is looking to recruit a Salaried GP to its supportive and collaborative clinical team.

Caring for a patient population of approximately 8000 across one site, the practice recently retained its Good CQC rating following a surprise inspection. With an experienced multidisciplinary team and an open-door approach from the Lead GP, you'll be joining a practice where teamwork, clinical support and professional development are genuinely encouraged.

GPs, patients and practice staff all benefit from the use of innovative technology and efficient workflow solutions. By simplifying processes and improving access to care, this approach reduces the administrative burden on the practice and allows GPs to dedicate more time to patient care, supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams.

• Up to 6 sessions (ideally 2 sessions per day, across Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays - although this can be adjusted to better fit your preferences)
• £11,000-£12,500 per session (DOE)

The Ideal Candidate

• Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work.
• An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
• Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services.
• Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding.
• Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
