Job summary

Menlo Park Adult Social Care in Southampton is seeking a salaried GP to deliver care with a focus on clinical work and reduced admin. The role includes a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments, with afternoons on-call only and no mornings, evenings, or weekends unless opted in.

You must be GMC-registered and have post-CCT experience. Salary is per session with GMC fees and indemnity covered, plus NHS pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP registered with GMC and on the UK performers list.
• At least a couple of years’ experience post-CCT.
• Admin-light, patient-facing clinical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Salaried GP delivering a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments.
• Prioritise clinical work with minimal admin burden.
• Evening and weekend work only if opted in.

Please note, having recently recruited a newly qualified GP, the practice are this time wanting to recruit a GP with at least a couple of years’ experience post-CCT.

Salary - c£12,000-12,500 per session plus GMC fees and indemnity coverage

• Established GP Training Practice
• Very long-standing Partners
• Good sized team of Salaried GPs
• Support team including Paramedics, Pharmacist, FCPs, Mental Health and GP Assistant
• Very paper-light and highly streamlined
• EMIS Practice

Your role -

• Salaried GP
• Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Admin-light to prioritise more time with patients - very much a clinically-based role
• Afternoon on-call only - no mornings!
• No evenings or weekends unless opted in
