We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 6-8 sessions per week for a fixed period of three months to cover GP leave.

We are a well-respected team of 6 partners, 4 salaried GPs, 1 ACP, 1 ANP, and 1 PA, along with a diverse clinical and non-clinical support team.
We are a GMS Practice in South West Sheffield, close to the Peak District National Park.

An exciting opportunity to work as a GP in a long-established training practice within a friendly and cohesive team. The practice boasts a diverse population of 13,300 patients over 2 sites, including the newly refurbished Carterknowle surgery.
We welcome applications from newly qualified GPs. The salary is £10,068 per session per annum, with 7 weeks of annual/study leave pro-rata. Sessions are negotiable.
Our team is supportive and enthusiastic, with work shared equally among GPs. We hold regular 10-minute clinical update meetings after morning coffee and promote training and career development in all roles.
The practice is high QOF achieving, utilizing SystmOne, and is always exploring new ideas and ways of working, including automated reviews, paperless referrals, and advanced triage systems.
We welcome doctors with special interests (not essential), and have a GP home visit triage system. Out-of-hours cover is provided by the GP Collaborative, with opportunities to cover additional hub sessions. We are part of the Portervalley Primary Care Network.
