Job summary

Hoylake & Meols Medical Centre seeks a salaried GP to provide patient-centred care through face-to-face consultations and telephone triage. You will run structured morning and afternoon clinics with flexible start and finish times.

There are no on-call duties, and paracmedics plus a clinical pharmacist team support home visits and medication handling; GMC registration is required with opportunities for professional development and special interests.

Qualifications

• Provide patient-centred care through face-to-face consultations and telephone triage.
• Run a structured clinic across morning and afternoon sessions.
• Hold 12 patient appointments and 2 to 3 telephone calls per session.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Support continuity of care for registered patients.
• Work with the wider clinical team on shared decision-making and efficient patient management.

Salaried GP post at Hoylake & Meols Medical Centre, one of two sites run by the practice, which also covers Egremont Medical Centre. The work centres on face-to-face consultations and telephone triage within a structured clinic, assessing and managing acute and chronic conditions across a registered list. Distinct features are no on-call duties, flexible start and finish times, and paramedics taking most home visits. Specialist clinics are possible depending on interest.
