Join Our Award-Winning Practice in Llandrindod Wells as a Salaried GP

Experience life as a rural GP in beautiful Mid Wales with flexible sessions to develop our practice team.

Our team includes 8 GPs (5.2 WTE) who enjoy working with supportive and friendly staff serving 10,700 patients in a close-knit community. Llandrindod Wells has been voted one of the happiest places to live in Wales.

We offer 6 weeks of pro-rata annual leave, a modern single-site surgery recently extended, and proximity to a thriving community hospital with a minor injury unit, inpatient beds, and a dialysis unit.

As a training practice, we host medical and physician associate students, a GP Fellow, and our first GP Registrar.

Our operating model includes a total triage system with a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments to share workload.

Our experienced nursing team covers long-term conditions and urgent care, supported by a paramedic urgent care practitioner. The district nursing team supports virtual wards, and we hold weekly practice MDT lunch meetings.

Partners are provided with daily coffee and a hot catered lunch during weekly meetings.

Our services include full contraceptive care and minor surgery. We also have good quality out-of-hours coverage from Shropdoc, with opportunities to work for them if desired.
