Job summary

Due to upcoming retirement, we are seeking a new partner to join two other full-time partners and our team in Tenbury.

We are a 9,750-patient semi-rural practice located in the Worcestershire Teme Valley. Tenbury is a small, thriving market town on the River Teme, known for apple growing, The Mistletoe Festival, independent shops, and an art deco cinema. Our area extends into the south Shropshire hills with a dispensing branch on Clee Hill. It is within easy commuting distance from Ludlow, Leominster, Worcester, and Kidderminster.

Main duties of the job
  1. 6-8 sessions per week
  2. Managing a list size of 9,750 and growing
  3. Working alongside 3 partners, 3 salaried GPs, and 2 ANPs
  4. Utilizing our premises in town with a new extension
  5. Providing dispensing services at Clee Hill
  6. Offering weekday medical cover for the local community hospital
  7. Visiting paramedic and ANP roles
  8. Participating in GP training and supporting Keele University medical students
  9. Being part of a well-functioning Herefordshire PCN with support staff, including community paramedics, a clinical pharmacist, and a Wellbeing Team. One partner is the Clinical Director.
  10. Supporting special clinical interests
  11. Enjoying a friendly, supportive, and social team environment
  12. Serving a stable, resilient local population that values our care
  13. Proficiency in EMIS Web, Docman, and AccuRx
