Job summary

The Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking a friendly and motivated GP to join a patient-focused practice serving around 10,000 patients. This salaried role offers flexible working, indemnity covered, and strong support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and NHS Performers List.
• MRCGP or equivalent with CCT or VT certificate.
• Experience in primary care and ability to work autonomously with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to teach, mentor and supervise ST1-3 and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in line with national guidance and practice protocols.
• Manage acute illness and long-term conditions; undertake home visits as required.
• Complete clinical administration including referrals, repeat prescriptions, and results review.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and safeguarding.
• Contribute to teaching and development of junior staff and students.

We are seeking a friendly and motivated GP to join a dynamic, patient-focused practice supporting circa 10,000 patients.
