Job summary

Menlo Park International GPs in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced Salaried GP to join a GP Training Practice. The post offers flexible sessional commitments, with typical daily patient numbers and a clinician-of-the-day triage model to support urgent care.

The practice supports career development and allows the development of interests such as Women’s Health, Dermatology or Research, with strong admin support and a not-for-profit ethos.

Responsibilities

The Practice

• Mid-sized practice with ambitious growth plans
• Part of a successful not-for-profit GP federation
• GP Training Practice with a structured educational programme
• Daily coffee break fostering a genuinely collaborative culture
• Strong multidisciplinary team including Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Physiotherapy service, Nurses and HCAs
• Dedicated medical secretaries managing referrals and correspondence
• Home visiting service in place, resulting in virtually no home visits for GPs
• Recently expanded premises undergoing significant investment and refurbishment
• EMIS clinical system
• Strong focus on clinician wellbeing and sustainable workloads

Your Role

• Salaried GP
• Flexible sessional commitment available
• 15-minute appointments throughout
• Typically 13 patients in the morning and 12 in the afternoon
• Personal lists
• Dedicated clinician-of-the-day model for triage and urgent care
• No squeeze-in appointments and no expectation to routinely work beyond scheduled hours
• Minimal home visiting responsibilities
• Opportunity to develop specialist interests, particularly Women’s Health, Dermatology or Research
• Excellent progression opportunities, including future Clinical Lead roles
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

Salary And Benefits

• £10,925–£11,845 per session, dependent on experience
