Job summary

Mount Farm Surgery is recruiting a salaried GP to join its primary care service. The role includes surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription and correspondence work across a varied patient list.

Sessions are flexible and agreed by discussion, with a mentoring scheme and capped workload for salaried doctors. Applicants should be fully qualified GPs with GMC registration and be listed on the NHSE medical performers list.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and revalidation requirements.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation, when appropriate.
• GMC registration and NHSE medical performers list eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surgery consultations and telephone consultations.
• Visiting patients at home as needed.
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions and manage paperwork.

Mount Farm Surgery, a teaching practice with ten GPs and a wide clinical team, is recruiting a salaried GP for its primary care service. The work covers surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription and correspondence work across a varied patient list. Sessions are flexible and agreed by discussion, with a mentoring scheme and capped workload for salaried doctors. Fit depends on GMC registration, revalidation and a place on the NHSE medical performers list.

What the job involves

Experience

• Experience of chronic disease management, primary prevention and screening services
