Job Role: Salaried GP

Work autonomously within the job plan as a Salaried GP, including both face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence from both self-referrals and other healthcare workers within the practice. Responsible for actioning shared blood test results and incoming clinical documents.

Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Develop care plans in consultation with patients. Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards. Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing protocol where clinically appropriate.
