Job description

Redlands Primary Care, CREDITON & THORVERTON

15 Minutes from Exeter (less via MS Teams!)

The right candidate will be joining our team of remote GPs to support our “in house” GPs with administrative work.

You will be part of a team working closely with one or two GP “buddies” from our in-house team.

We will work with the right candidate to blend clinical and administrative work to achieve a sustainable balance.

The approximate expectation for an hour's work could include: 6 x phone calls, 40 scanned documents or 40 pathology results.

Our expectation would be for you to visit the practice for induction and ideally for our shut down afternoons,

Our aim is for our remote working colleagues to feel an integral part of our expanding multi-disciplinary team and benefit from the practice team spirit.

Other benefits include:

  • 30 mins of daily coffee and clinical catch up via Teams
  • Urgent Care Team consisting of 3 Paramedics.
  • Clinical Pharmacy team – to manage medication changes, queries and reviews.
  • Trained Care Navigators to direct patients to the most appropriate care.
  • 6 weeks holiday (pro rata bank holiday)
  • Bi-weekly clinical meetings via Teams
  • Laptop provided.
  • Opportunity to engage with training and teaching – medical students, F2 and registrars.
  • Potential for a flexible working pattern – please just ask!
