Job description

Join to apply for the Salaried GP role at NHS.

Most of our sites are training practices, and training in areas of special interest is greatly supported.

We are currently recruiting for a Salaried GP (up to 9 sessions) at various MMP Surgeries. Please visit our website to view the locations of our surgeries.

We consider Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship applications.

We are particularly interested in candidates with specialist skills, and/or those interested in becoming GP trainers/qualified trainers.

Main duties of the job

1. Each session lasts 4 hours and 10 minutes, including:
2. Approximately 3.5 hours of patient contact, which may include face-to-face appointments, home visits, and telephone appointments. Surgeries operate 10-minute appointments for routine face-to-face consultations and 5-minute appointments for telephone and urgent contacts.
3. 40 minutes per session dedicated to administration tasks such as correspondence, blood results, repeat prescriptions, reports, and QoF.
4. On-call duties on a local surgery rota basis, with adjustments made during on-call days.
5. Surgery start and finish times are to be locally agreed with SGPs and surgery management.
6. This job plan may be reviewed periodically based on organizational or patient needs.
