- We are a friendly, highly motivated and well organised practice. We work well as a team caring for 7400 patients and are proactive to their needs. We are innovative in the use of IT, and we use TPP,
- We are dedicated to patient care and a positive patient experience. We offer a wide range of enhanced services.
We have a strong focus on workload management and due to the clinical and administrative set-up; we do NOT expect ANY significant amounts of clinical admin to be done between clinical sessions.
In addition to this, we have a very LOW VISITING burden and one Care Home
The clinical team are supported by a well-led and trained administrative team whose sole focus is to minimise the administrative burdens on clinicians whilst optimising patient care.
Main duties of the job
- With a growing list of patients and a great reputation we are looking for enthusiastic salaried GP(s) to join the team. who can bring both clinical and non-clinical skills to the practice and will possess the qualities essential for this position. - Working in a new purpose built health centre with good access to community services
- Experience of QOF. ESO (BHAM), Insurance reports, Bloods, results, Clinical letters including read-coding, and identifying QOF
In addition, we have a multidisciplinary clinical team which includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, GP Assistants and Midwives. We are also supported by the GOSK Primary Care Network Social Prescribers, First Contact Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacist team and Mental Health Dedicated support team

Job Summary
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities

- The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
- The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
- Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
- Effective management of long-term conditions
- Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
- On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles if required
- Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance using templates where possible.
- Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
- Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
- Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
- Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF
- Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
- Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training.

- Prepare and complete the revalidation process
