Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a General Assistant/ Salad Chef at our Farnborough location. This term-time contract runs 38 weeks a year with shifts from 8am to 3:30pm or 4pm, with flexibility. The role includes salad prep, stock replenishment, and maintaining hygiene standards while delivering great customer service.

You will work within a fast-paced catering environment, supported by a team that values high-quality food and on-site parking is available. Previous experience in catering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced catering environment preferred.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support team with preparation and making of salads.
• Replenish stocks and prepare service areas.
• Serve, clear, and maintain hygiene of service areas.
• Restock and manage consumables during service.
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.
• Adhere to food hygiene and allergen policies.
