Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced SailPoint Engineer in Manchester on a 12‑month hybrid contract. You will lead design, integration and governance of IAM using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, delivering secure identity solutions across the enterprise.

The role requires hands‑on SailPoint expertise and senior IAM engineering experience to support design, build, integration and continuous improvement in a complex environment.

Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Senior Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Engineer, with a strong focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).

The successful candidate will join the Identity and Access Management team within IT Services and will provide senior-level technical expertise across the design, implementation, integration, support and continuous improvement of the identity governance and administration capabilities.

This is a hands‑on engineer and administrator role supporting implementation of new technology towards ongoing service for IdAM. The individual will lead technical support of SailPoint capabilities alongside colleagues in IdAM, and work closely with security, architecture, infrastructure, applications and business stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Background

The strongest candidates are likely to come from organisations with large, complex IAM environments, such as higher education, financial services, government, healthcare, large enterprises or other highly regulated organisations.

Candidates who are primarily SailPoint administrators with limited engineering, configuration, integration, design or solution‑delivery experience are unlikely to meet the requirements.
