We are looking to recruit a Senior Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Engineer, with a strong focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
The successful candidate will join the Identity and Access Management team within IT Services and will provide senior-level technical expertise across the design, implementation, integration, support and continuous improvement of the identity governance and administration capabilities.
This is a hands‑on engineer and administrator role supporting implementation of new technology towards ongoing service for IdAM. The individual will lead technical support of SailPoint capabilities alongside colleagues in IdAM, and work closely with security, architecture, infrastructure, applications and business stakeholders.
The strongest candidates are likely to come from organisations with large, complex IAM environments, such as higher education, financial services, government, healthcare, large enterprises or other highly regulated organisations.
Candidates who are primarily SailPoint administrators with limited engineering, configuration, integration, design or solution‑delivery experience are unlikely to meet the requirements.
The critical requirement is hands‑on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud expertise combined with senior‑level IAM engineering experience.
We need someone who can contribute to and support assurance towards design, build, integration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement and SailPoint‑based identity governance capabilities, while also being able to operate confidently in a complex enterprise environment and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
The role would suit a technically strong SailPoint/IAM engineer who is ready to take a key leadership role for strategic IAM delivery, rather than someone focused solely on day‑to‑day administration or support.
