Job summary

Altum Consulting is seeking a hands-on Systems Analyst to support a finance systems migration in London. The role is hybrid, with two days on-site per week and an initial contract to November, with potential for further work.

You’ll work on integrations, data flows, and system administration, helping embed the new finance environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JSON and XML, advanced Excel (Power Query and macros), and familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar financial

Qualifications

• Hands-on Finance Systems Analyst experience (Systems Analyst or Systems Accountant).
• Strong JSON and XML experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and macros.
• Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with APIs and systems integrations.
• Strong data management and data cleansing experience.
• Experience administering accounting or finance systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to train users.
• Comfortable working at pace and in technical detail.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing finance systems migration and related activity.
• Assist with finance system administration and configuration.
• Work hands-on with integrations, APIs and data flows.
• Write and work with JSON and XML.
• Support data management, cleansing and migration activities.
• Use advanced Excel features including Power Query and macros.
• Troubleshoot system and data issues.
• Provide practical support and training to users.
• Collaborate with Finance and project team to resolve issues and priorities.
