Reed Accountancy is partnering with a Halifax employer to recruit a Bookkeeper for part-time or full-time positions. The role supports the day-to-day finance function and requires a strong background in Sage.

You will manage supplier and customer accounts, handle invoicing and payments, perform bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and assist with payroll. The position operates in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using Sage.
• Experience with general supplier and customer accounts.
• Competent using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase ledger and supplier payments.
• Sales ledger management and invoicing.
• Bank reconciliations.
• VAT returns and submissions.
• Process payroll.
• Raise job sheets and maintain accurate records.
• Answer telephone queries and provide customer support.
• Produce pricing and quotations.
• Month end preparations and reporting.
• Cover wider office and administrative duties during periods of annual leave.
