Job summary

Reed is recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a part-time basis in Bishops Cleeve. The role offers approximately 16-18 hours per week with flexible days and hours and pays £18/hr, with long-term opportunities in a growing business.

You will manage bookkeeping, support month-end/year-end processes, and ensure records are accurate and compliant, using Sage for daily tasks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance position.
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
• Processing invoices, payments and receipts.
• Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage.
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Preparing transactional accounting information for external accountants.
• Assisting with financial reporting and documentation requests.
• Ensuring all records remain compliant and up to date.
