Bridge Education seeks a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well-maintained school site in Preston, supporting day-to-day premises operations. This part-time, long-term position ensures the school environment is safe, secure and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role emphasizes health and safety, security and compliance, offering long-term stability and a supportive team, with ongoing consultant support and DBS checks as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Reliable and proactive approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site.
• Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas.
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site.
