Job summary

Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a Blackburn school site on a part-time, long-term basis. You will support the day-to-day running of the premises, ensuring a safe, secure and well-presented environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate and a stable, supportive working environment, with weekly PAYE payments and dedicated consultant support, making it ideal for someone with caretaking or facilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in caretaking, facilities or maintenance.
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site.
  • Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas.
  • Liaise with contractors and external providers where required.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site.
