Job summary

Bridge Education in Preston is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of the school premises. This part-time, long-term role focuses on keeping the site safe, secure and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will carry out general maintenance and minor repairs, manage opening/closing, conduct health and safety checks, liaise with contractors, and help sustain high site standards.

Bridge education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well‑maintained school site in Preston supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises. This is a part‑time, long‑term position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors. The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a cleaner or looking for a stable role in a school setting.

School Site Supervisor role requirements
  • Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Reliable and proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
