Job summary

Translink invites applications for the Protection & Assurance Co-Ordinator role in the Belfast area. The position concentrates on coordinating access to NI Railways infrastructure to ensure works are carried out safely and in line with the company rule book and SH&E procedures.

It requires strong safety leadership and the ability to drive improvements. The role supports management in technical, safety, and competence matters, and involves flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an HNC/HND or equivalent OR possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/assessor role.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety critical environment.
• Experience of using MS Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Able to work frequently at nights and weekends when required.
• Possess a full current driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan and coordinate access to the Northern Ireland Railways Infrastructure for works to take place safely.
• Support management in technical, safety and competence management.
• Drive safety improvements in arrangements for planning and protection of worksites across the Translink portfolio.
