Responsibilities of Role

As a Safety & Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the successful rollout of physical security projects across the UK and EMEA.
• Working alongside senior engineers to assist with configuration, testing, commissioning, and documentation of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• Assisting in the delivery of physical security projects, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• Supporting system configuration, testing, and commissioning under guidance.
• Preparing project documentation such as commissioning reports, asset lists, and handover packs.
• Providing on-site and remote technical support during project delivery.
• Troubleshooting basic system issues and escalating complex problems.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards (e.g., GDPR, CPNI) and health & safety regulations.
• Participating in training to enhance knowledge of security systems and technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in a technical engineering role (physical security, electrical, or IT fields).
• Familiarity with access control, CCTV, or intrusion detection systems is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of IP networks and structured cabling.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and EMEA.
• Industry certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Milestone) are a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Full driving license and passport are required.
