Salary:

Negotiable – depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Managing all the safety requirements that filter down from the whole boat into combat systems – safety requirements flow down and recording in DOORS
  2. Managing Requirements Decomposition (DSRs / 4SFRs / 5SFRs) once the Safety Team have completed their analysis
  3. Delivering reports to the Senior Engineering Manager for safety requirements process
  4. Liaising with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers regarding Safety Requirements
  5. Providing the Safety Team/Subsystems with specialist support in carrying out a Gap Analysis between Formal Safety Requirements and the Safety Requirements placed on suppliers by the Sub-systems teams
Your skills and experiences:
  1. Experience using DOORS
  2. Safety requirements management – recent experience managing requirements up and down the V cycle – INCOSE systems engineering V diagram
  3. Degree or relevant experience in requirements management
  4. Defence contract experience
  5. Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  6. Understanding of Safety FHAs, FTAs, PSSAs, and Safety Fault Schedules
