Job summary

CBRE is seeking a proactive Permit Coordinator to manage the Safe Permit System across high-profile client facilities in the UK. You will bridge EHS standards with operations, ensuring contractors and teams operate under a verified safe system of work.

You will review CoW permits, RAMS, and guide vendors through safe processes. The role requires experience in EHS or FM, strong organisational skills, and comfort with digital permitting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or Facilities Management (FM) environment.
• Knowledge of RAMS and CoW processes.
• Hands-on experience with digital permitting systems.
• Clear, customer-centric communication of safety requirements.
• Strong organisational habits to manage high volumes across multi-building estates.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and authorise CoW permit applications in line with legislation, client guidelines and landlord requirements.
• Scrutinise RAMS across general maintenance and high-risk activities.
• Act as primary contact for external vendors and internal facilities teams guiding through safe systems of work.
• Deliver permitting briefings and inductions to partners and supply chain teams.
• Maintain real-time records across permitting platforms and generate KPI reports.
• Participate in safety audits and support broader EHS and facilities initiatives on site.
