Job summary

Babcock Devonport site is seeking a Safety Performance and Learning Advisor to support the Health and Safety team. You will coordinate safety events, produce reports, and help share lessons learned across the organisation.

This role emphasizes data handling, dashboarding, and process improvement in a regulated defence environment. The position is full-time, onsite at Devonport Royal Dockyard, with a focus on maintaining records, supporting investigations, and promoting a strong safety culture

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role with record-keeping responsibilities.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint for data handling and reporting.
• Experience producing reports and using spreadsheets to monitor information and provide insights.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a willingness to learn health, safety and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain safety event records, track actions to completion.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, performance information and trend analysis for the Health and Safety team.
• Support meetings by organising documentation and recording actions.
• Communicate lessons learned across the business to promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Provide admin and coordination support for safety investigations and learning initiatives.
