Working Pattern and Location

Monday - Friday, mainly home-based with travel to Macclesfield or London offices bi-weekly. Candidates must be able to drive.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a Food Safety expert to join our Safety and Wellbeing team as a Safety Manager. You will promote safety as a core value, inspiring the business to uphold high standards, performance, and culture in food safety and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, influence, and drive food safety initiatives
• Build positive stakeholder relationships across multiple levels
• Challenge and motivate continuous improvement
• Communicate food safety processes effectively
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to new initiatives
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Experience in hospitality, food service, or similar sectors
• Robust incident reporting and investigation skills
• Experience with food safety and H&S management systems and audits
• Deliver food safety training

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years in food safety management
• Degree or equivalent in Food Safety
• L4 Food Safety qualification
• HACCP qualification
• Health and Safety qualification (desirable)
• Membership of recognized professional body
• Leadership training (desirable)
