A unique opportunity to join a highly rated food manufacturing business in their journey of growth as their Health & Safety Manager based in East London.

As Health & Safety Manager you will lead the SHE agenda for this growing food manufacturing business.

You will provide advice and guidance to the business on Health, Safety and Environment and develop a SHE strategy in line with the business strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience of establishing the H&S culture within the workplace. You will lead H&S performance improvements at this site in East London. You will ensure the Site’s Health, Safety and Environment policies and systems are managed effectively to support the adherence to all relevant legislation and agreed internal standards.

As Health & Safety Manager you will monitor and embed the site management processes, including the investigation of all lost time incidents and management of the incident recording system, to ensure a safe working environment is maintained.

The ideal professional will have:

• Previous experience in health and safety management and training in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
• Extensive and up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• NEBOSH Diploma
• Excellent report writing skills to document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
