Job summary

Scotsman Hospitality Group is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Safety Hosts to join our venues across Scotland, ensuring a secure and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will greet guests, monitor entrances, and maintain a visible safety presence throughout the venue to support a positive guest experience.

The role requires a calm, professional attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.
• Calm and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain vigilant and proactive in guest/staff safety.
• Availability to work shifts, including late nights and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations (training provided).
• First Aid Certification is a plus, but training can be arranged.
• Must be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and monitor entrances to ensure safe flow of people.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor venue capacity and enforce safety regulations.
• Assist in crowd management and intervene in disruptive behavior calmly.
• Conduct routine safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise with management, security, and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide first aid assistance when required (training provided).
• Handle guest queries and support customer experience with friendly service.

• Conduct routine safety checks around the venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise with management, security personnel, and emergency services when necessary.

Requirements:
