Job summary

Keystone Lintels is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to promote a strong SHEQ culture across the business. You’ll work with management and staff to implement standards, policies and improvements in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues, with responsibility for inspections, audits and records. Based in Cookstown, NI, with opportunities to develop within a growing group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SHEQ/Health & Safety/Quality/Environmental role.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and workplace requirements.
• Manufacturing/construction/industrial environment experience beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with risk assessments, inspections and incident reporting.
• Effective communication with employees at all levels.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Ability to manage SHEQ documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the company's SHEQ systems and procedures.
• Carry out regular workplace, yard and production area inspections.
• Identify hazards, risks and non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
• Support investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate SHEQ records, registers and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and legislation.
• Support internal/ external audits and inspections.
• Assist with quality checks and non-conformance reporting.
• Help monitor environmental controls and waste management.
• Deliver or support SHEQ inductions and toolbox talks.
• Work with managers to improve SHEQ performance.
• Monitor actions from inspections and investigations.
• Support continual improvement of SHEQ processes.
• Produce reports and maintain KPIs.
